A thought comes to mind
"What else could be done?
Is there any stones still

Lives to about to be snuffed out
Untold generations of progress
Just seconds from ruin
Selfishness makes its last stand
Is it wrong?
Is it a mistake to think of yourself
When the moment
Holds many in its grip?
The answer may have been there
